Chocolate Orange Cookies
This recipe is from my Aunt in New York but it has been simplified many times in the past years. These cookies can be frosted, glazed or left plain. They are one of my favorite holiday cookies but why not make them all year long.

Chocolate Orange Cookies

Ingredients:

1 Chocolate Cake Mix
2 Eggs
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup Orange Juice
2 3/4 cups Flour
1tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Jelly (any flavor)
Nuts and /or Raisins (Optional)

Mix dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients. May add a little more flour if too sticky.
Drop onto parchment lined cookie sheet with spoon or small ice-cream scoop.
Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Frost or Glaze with powdered sugar, orange juice and orange zest mixed to desired consistancy.
YUMMY!!
